Theresa Jones
Theresa Jones has worked as a teacher for more than 15 years and holds a Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Arizona and a Master's in Education from UCSC.
Theresa's work revolves around teaching children and helping families understand how children learn best (different ways for different children). As an advocate for music education, she specializes in using music, dance and rhythm to teach and inspire.
Theresa began teaching general music in Arizona while earning her Bachelor's degree. After graduating, Theresa moved to California where she taught elementary and middle school band, jazz band and choir in public schools. She later returned to school to earn her Master's. Theresa taught fourth grade and kindergarten in Oakland until moving to Hayward and having her beautiful daughter (now 2).
Since becoming a mother, Theresa has honed her skills in early childhood music instruction by teaching, observing, and collaborating with teachers and music professionals in nearby cities. Theresa is very excited to start an early childhood program in the Hayward/Castro Valley area, because she lives here and is an active part of this community.
Theresa is extremely dedicated to the Eden Area and Hayward. She has participated in community groups and is also an active member of the Castro Valley Mother's club, an organization dedicated to helping mothers through networking, playgroups and activities. Theresa and her family reside in the Fairview Area in Hayward.

Piano Teacher
Sam Grobe-Heintz
Pianist Sam Grobe-Heintz has lived, performed and taught in the San Francisco Bay area for the past ten years. He holds a B.A. in music from San Francisco State University and teaches at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. Sam also provides private piano lessons and teaches piano at various schools in the Bay Area.
Sam can be heard in a trio format on Tuesday nights at Savanna Jazz in San Francisco. He also plays Sunday afternoons at the Dogpatch Saloon and most Monday evenings at Shanghai 1930 in San Francisco.
He appears in San Francisco clubs weekly performing with a wide variety of Bay Area musicians, including acclaimed saxophonist Andrew Speight, drummer Vince Lateano, and bassist Michael Zisman. Over the past couple of years he has performed with a diverse group of musicians, including the Alexander String Quartet, singer Jamie Davis, and saxophonist Pete Yellin.
Sam currently lives in Hayward with his lovely wife and baby daughter.
