Mandarin Music program- Summer Special  For Big Kids

 What is Orff  

A music program developed by German composer Carl Orff during the 1920s and 1930s. Carl Orff conceived an approach to building musicianship in every learner through the integration of music, movement, speech, and drama. In Orff Schulwerk classrooms, children begin with what they do instinctively: play! Imitation, experimentation, and personal expression occur naturally as students become confident, life-long musicians and creative problem solvers.

 In Orff For Big Kids Class [ Oakland location] 

Kids will learn Mandarin through dance, singing, play, movement, story and art. Kids will also experience the group ensemble with classmates and family. At the end of the class, families and kids will do a little performance/presentation together. 

 Who can join 
Kids must be at least 5 yrs old.

Each class need to have at least 2 children to run the class. 

 Tuition & Class Information 

• 90 minutes per class. We have 3 classes with 3 different topics. 

• Oakland (Rockridge/Montclair) location only. 

• Tuition- $50 per class.

• Materials: Instruments and crafting materials will be provided by teacher Vita.

We might provide simple digital music sheet to you after the class.

    In-door Covid protocol 

• In-person in-door class: All adult require a proof of vaccination. 

A maximum of TWO ADULTS is allowed per family.​​​​​​

 All participants must wear a mask for class. (This policy will continue to be updated when children under 5 have the vaccines available.)
