Early Start Music (ESM) Teacher Opportunities

If you're looking for a way to work with both music and children—and get paid for doing something you love—look no further! When you become an Early Start Music Together® teacher, you share the magic of making music with families every day. In fact, many of MT teachers said that teaching Music Together is the most rewarding job they've ever had.

There's no typical Music Together teacher. Actors, singers, dancers, teachers, therapists, parents, some with formal music training, some without. With the help of our excellent, live training and support, people from all walks of life have become successful teachers from the same simple prerequisites: the ability to sing in tune and move accurately to the rhythm, the ability to lead a group, and a love of music and children.

We are actively seeking new teachers/experienced MT teachers to join our team.

Now Hiring for Fall 2019 – and Beyond!


Music Together Teacher (Part-time)-

Applicants requirements:

  • Fremont / Newark locations
  • Weekday/Weekend Mornings (Saturday and/or Sunday availability required. )
  • Experience with ukelele or guitar play
  • Must be able to sing in tune and move accurately to the rhythm
  • Strong classroom communication skills
  • Must complete 3 days of MT training.  If you are new, ESM will go through the detail of the MT training in Summer after your application had been accepted by ESM center director.

Music Together Sub Teacher (Part-time)-

  • Fremont / Newark /Castro Valley locations
  • Weekday / Weekend Mornings (Must be able to sub on weekends)
  • Music Together registered teacher required.

Parents photographer -

We are always looking for a current family photographer who understands our MT culture and class activities and be able to capture great photos of movement for our marketing during the 45 minutes class.
